We are a ‘Not for profit’ organisation whose objective is to enable initially residents in the Greenland & Brunswick Quay area to grow herbs together.
We want to see planters containing herbs, fruit, flowers and vegetables dotted about and cared for by the local community.
We are building up a group of keen ‘foster-farmers’ who will take care of our planters and other schemes. The volunteers will be responsible for planting, watering, weeding, and of course, consuming the end result!
Our hope is that this activity will bring members of the community together to enjoy gardening and will encourage more people to take pride in their local environment, discouraging littering and vandalism.
